What "adults only" actually means here
It means the property is built for adults, and the minimum age to stay is 12. We don't host younger children. It isn't a stance against anyone, it's just how this place is put together: few rooms, little noise, slow mornings.
And since the question always arrives in the same bundle: no pets either, and there's no smoking anywhere on the property. If those three things work for you, the rest of the stay sorts itself out.
We're small on purpose
Most people searching "adults only" in Tulum are really after something else. They want it quiet. A small hotel does that job better than a sign on the door.
There's no reserving a lounger at seven in the morning here, no competing for shade. You can walk barefoot from your room to the sand and not put shoes on all day. We've been here since before Tulum was Tulum, and the property still runs on that logic: few things, done well, no rush.
Mornings: breakfast is included
Daily continental breakfast comes with your stay. House granola, Greek yogurt, fresh pastries, seasonal fruit, coffee, and juice.
It isn't a thirty-meter buffet. It's what you need before you get in the water, and it's usually the quietest part of the day. Mornings are slow here. Use them.
Eating without leaving
We have beach dining, dinner at NÜ, Bowls de Guadalupe, Climo, and a culinary experience for anyone who wants something more structured. Between those, most nights resolve themselves without getting into a taxi on the beach road.
That said, don't wall yourself in. Tulum eats well off-property too, and if you want to go out we'll tell you where. But if the plan tonight is dinner on the sand and a walk back, it's already handled.
Spa, tours, and getting here
We have wellness and spa service on site, for the hours when the midday sun is doing too much and the sensible move is to be under a roof for a while.
We also arrange tours and private transportation. That last one matters more than it sounds: Tulum goes better when someone already knows what time to leave and which way to go. The cenotes are close, and the real Tulum is past the shoreline. Write to us ahead of time and we'll put it together.
The practical part, before you book
Three things that prevent surprises at arrival:
- We're a cashless hotel. We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express). We don't take cash or checks.
- Bring ID. Every guest must present a valid passport or official photo identification at check-in.
- Bring the physical card. You'll need the same credit card used to pay for the reservation. If you don't have it with you there's an alternate procedure, but it's easier to just bring it.
So, is it for you?
Traveling with small kids? No. Looking for a big resort with activities and three pools? Also no.
If what you want is to sleep to the sound of the water, eat breakfast without a line, get in the sea at eight in the morning, and have nobody hurry you all day, then yes. Bienvenido a casa. La playa te espera.
